Rita Piel

Rita Piel is a partner in the Baltimore, Maryland office of a large law firm and a mom to 4 boys including a set of (surprise!) identical twins. She has been practicing in the areas of corporate law, mergers & acquisitions and intellectual property for over 15 years. Rita serves as outside general counsel and a trusted advisor to the c-suite of private and public companies in helping them with all of their corporate transactional and strategic legal needs. In her free time, she plays USTA tennis, snowboards in the winter, coaches local rec soccer and basketball teams, shuttles her kids to ballroom dance lessons, and argues with her attorney husband.
